Soo envious of your writer’s retreat! And omg if a reader tattoo isn’t #1 author goal I don’t know what is – that’s incredible! Cheering you to the 50K. Also – I’m WORD all the way, and can’t imagine ever changing! Happy writing! xx
Thanks re the 50k!!! I'm trying to manifest! lol. And yeah, I think I'm word all the way too. I reckon you have to be a certain kind of writer for Scrivener and I should stop trying to be that kind! x
I’ve lived in Perth for 18 years & have never been to Rotto. It’s the ferry ride over, I can’t get my head around it & I hear so many people say how it can be horrible that it scares me too much.
I’m jealous of your colour kobo too. I’ve had my Clara for a few years & love it, especially because you can link it to your library card! It’s all I take with me when I travel now, it makes packing so much easier!
Oh you MUST go. It's magic!! Honestly I've been on very few bad ferry trips! I really need to get my Kobo linked to my library card. I still tend to lean towards print books too, especially if the digital is almost the same price as print, but I'm trying ;) x
When my shelves started getting out of control I decided I’d have “collection” authors. These are authors who are auto reads for me so I buy all their books. Everyone else I either borrow from the library, physically or via my kobo. Sometimes a borrow author turns into a collection author so then I set about collecting all their books either brand new or from the op-shops.
How annoying is it when a physical book is the same price as an ebook! It makes no sense to me!!!
I looked into Scrivener when I started writing because I had trouble with getting my own word not the works one, and anything written on the works one can be claimed as theirs. Karina pointed me to ‘how to clips’ and this time round I think I have it better.

I KNOW you can do it!! (And yes, I think so too re Scrivener – maybe for writers who are quite organised / outliners up front??) xx
Yep. AKA - not us ;)
Haha yep! xx
Love reading all your news Rach. This newsletter buzzes with energy. I have no doubt you’ll soon be getting a new tattoo. 😍
Aw thanks so much! Not holding my breath on the 50k copies or a tattoo, but it's good to have a goal ; )x

I love the idea of 'collection' authors!!! And yes, the price thing is annoying!!!!
Congratulations on middle son!

Thank you! x

Thank you for the shout out and for reading my book even though you’re so busy! I really appreciate it. ❤️
The writing retreat looks so fun but I’d probably spend the whole time talking and distracting people… 🤣
SUCH a fun night we had!! Thanks so much :)
That writer’s retreat looks the business…& thanks for the reminder re the Sunny Coast festival. I must remember to get tickets.
It was so good. If only I could live on an island writers' retreat ;) x
